Birkenfelder Hof looks back on over 125 years of tradition. Founded in 1896 as the inn “Zu den drei Raben,” our house gradually developed into a popular meeting place for travelers and locals alike. After a fire in 1971, the inn was rebuilt and renamed “Birkenfelder Hof” in 1985. Since then, we have been running it as a family business with great heart and passion. In 1995, we celebrated our 100th anniversary and expanded the property into a modern country inn with a hotel wing. Today, Birkenfelder Hof combines a historic atmosphere with contemporary comfort—from modern rooms to an award-winning restaurant.

THE BENDER FAMILY
The Bender family has shaped the house for generations. Junior manager and CEO Gerome Bender brings international experience from renowned luxury hotels. His career began with training at the Michelin-starred restaurant of Villa Hammerschmiede and continued in prestigious establishments such as Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa (Baden-Baden), Wald & Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe (Zweiflingen), and Budersand Hotel – Golf & Spa (Sylt). Today, he manages the hotel with fresh ideas and a modern approach. His goal: to offer guests not just a stay, but a truly memorable experience.

The charming main building combines historic character with modern comfort. It houses the reception, the “Benders” restaurant, and the breakfast room with its stylish, newly designed interior. Directly adjacent, the large sun terrace invites you to relax and linger.
In addition to two air-conditioned studios, the main building also offers comfortable double rooms as well as simple single rooms that provide a pleasant and peaceful living experience. Guests appreciate the special atmosphere of the main building, which harmoniously combines tradition with modern living comfort.
MAIN HOUSE
The stylishly designed main house impresses with timeless elegance and high living comfort. An elevator ensures convenient access to all floors. Here you will find two spacious single rooms and twelve generous double rooms, designed with clean lines and high-quality furnishings.
Directly next to the building, the sunny terrace invites you to relax. The main house offers modern comfort in a quiet location—ideal for both business travelers and holiday guests.
VILLA
Our stylish “Villa” annex is located directly opposite the reception and impresses with its modern design and a calm, well-kept atmosphere. The seven newly renovated rooms feature high-quality materials, bright colors, and thoughtfully designed details.
The Villa offers two comfortable single rooms, four spacious double rooms, and a 50 m² junior suite with a bathtub. Private parking spaces are available directly in front of the building. The Villa is ideal for guests who value peace, style, and short distances.
